A space for boosting your physical and mental wellbeing
Hi, my name is Sophie!
I have known about Pilates from an early age – mainly due to my physio mum who would say the root cause of so many pains and injuries was poor posture and strength! My interest in sport and physiology led me to study Sport & Exercise Science at University, and it was a little later when I discovered the personal impact of Pilates as part of rehab and ongoing management for a long-term injury whilst living in Singapore. I witnessed first-hand how it helped my physical and mental recovery, improving my core strength, movement patterns, and flexibility. Based on my newfound passion for Pilates, I decided to utilise my degree and qualify with APPI (Australian Physio & Pilates Institute) as a Pilates instructor. I am continually building my skillset in order to provide relevant and holistic sessions for my clients, with extra certifications in Ante/Post Natal, Menopause, Healthy Hips, and Mindfulness.
My hope is to help other people realise the benefits that Pilates brings to daily life; from general strength and mobility to enhancing sports performance and reducing pain and risk of injury.
I live with my husband and two girls in the beautiful village of Stoke Row, Oxfordshire. I offer regular group classes in the village as well as online sessions, and also see clients for individual 1:1 programmes.
If you’re interested to know more then please get in touch and I’d be happy to message or have a chat.
